Hi! I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California (USC), with a strong interest in applying AI to healthcare and biomedicine.
Currently, I’m working as a graduate researcher under Professor Ruishan, where I’m involved in drug discovery and deimmunization research projects. My work focuses on applying machine learning to real-world challenges such as immunogenicity analysis. Beyond that, I’m also deeply interested in generative models (diffusion) and explainable AI (XAI), and I enjoy exploring how these areas can contribute to more robust and transparent systems.
Before starting my graduate studies, I earned my undergraduate degree from Ewha Womans University, where I double majored in Computer Science & Engineering and Content Convergence. During that time, I worked as an undergraduate researcher at the AI Computing Platform Lab under Professor Jaehyeong Sim, conducting AI/ML research. I also gained industry experience as a Software Engineer Intern at RainbirdGEO, where I contributed to building a weather application targeting Southeast Asia.
While I’m excited about advancing AI itself, I care even more about how it can be used to make a real impact. This is what led me to focus on healthcare applications, and it continues to motivate me to build AI systems that are reliable, interpretable, and ultimately human-centered.
